With its abundance of natural beauty, award-winning sandy coastline, deep history, and varied landscapes, Lincolnshire is truly one of the countries hidden gems. The rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds are perfect for ramblers, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers alike who will love the scenic trails and inspiring views. We’re a stone’s throw from the East Coast, with some of the UK’s cleanest and prettiest sandy beaches. And there’s variety too – whether you’ll be bringing your birdwatching gear or your buckets and spades, there are many quiet remote beaches or popular seaside resorts for you to explore. Lincolnshire’s rich history means that a heritage site or museum is never far away. Iron-age finds, Roman trails, castles and churches, Victorian and Georgian market towns and many historic RAF aviation attractions will please all types of culture-lovers.
The slow pace of the countryside is its charm, offering rural isolation and relaxation, but it’s not all sleepy hills and burbling streams! The city of Lincoln is home to a magnificent famous medieval historic Cathedral and Castle and is also host to one of europe’s largest Christmas Markets. Nearby Louth is home to Cadwell Park, a host of the British Superbike Championship; and the county throws a multitude of festivals and celebrations throughout the year. Visit us today and let us help you discover all that Lincolnshire has to offer.
