Whether you are a family, a couple or on your own, we understand how difficultly it is to find suitable high quality, clean and smart dog friendly cottages for your annual holiday or for a midweek or weekend short break.

At Greetham Retreat we accept pets in our holiday cottage lets, they are always deep cleaned on every changeover, by the owners themselves, to ensure our high standards are maintained and they offer some of the very best pet friendly accommodation that you will find in Lincolnshire.  Just have a look at the reviews that past guests have written about. We charge a small extra fee, of just £30 per stay, for all pets staying in the cottages which helps coves the extra cost of carrying out a thorough deep clean, to make sure that all signs of any pets are removed before the next guests and pets arrive. Staying at Greetham Retreat removes all the hassle normally associated with finding dog friendly holiday cottage accommodation for people with pets and it does not mean that you will be sacrificing quality.  The owners, Rob and Jeanette Folwell, will meet you and your pet on arrival and tell you about several pet friendly places, attractions and activities that should suit your interests and needs for both you and your pets.

Wendy’s Wing (Sleeps 2 people and 2 dogs/pets welcomed)

This is a luxury ground floor self-catering cottage for 2 people with high vaulted ceilings throughout, bedroom has super-king double or twin single beds and ensuite wet room. Our most popular 2 person holiday cottage with level access and no steps.

Rose’s Rest (Sleeps 2 people and 1 small dog/pet)

Lovely cosy fully equipped ground floor self-catering holiday cottage for 2 people with high vaulted ceilings throughout, leather sofas, breakfast bar, modern kitchen, king size double bed and en-suite shower room. Small pet welcome.

Maggie’s Mews (Sleeps 4 people and 2 dogs/pets)

Spacious luxury holiday cottage with open plan modern living areas for 4 people, master bedroom upstairs with super-king double bed and ground floor bedroom with twin single beds, both with ensuites, whirlpool bath. Offers fantastic views and 2 dogs are welcome.

Katie’s Corner (Sleeps 6 people and 3 dogs/pets)

Very spacious self-catering property for larger families, groups or three couples. With lovely open plan living areas for 6 people in 3 bedrooms (2 double & 1 twin or super-king double) and 2 bath/shower rooms. This is our largest holiday cottage and up to 3 dogs or pets are also welcomed.

If you stay at Greetham Retreat self catering holiday cottages we will make sure that you get the independence and freedom that you would rarely get staying in a hotel or B&B.  We positively welcome guests’ pets and even give a special welcome treat for your doggies or other pets

when you arrive.  You can expect parking spaces right next to your cottage, and then you and your pet can step straight out into the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside that surrounds Greetham Retreat. Of course, taking your dog on holiday also means that you will want easy access to some great walks – whether you prefer leisurely strolls or something a bit more active.  You can to walk your dog around the 4 acre private grounds and as we are within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the Lincolnshire Wolds can offer some of the finest countryside in the UK, just on the doorstep. There are also some scenic canal and waterway walks as well as the stunning coastal paths and many dog friendly deserted wide and sandy beaches along the east coast all within easy reach, you’ll really be spoilt for choice. We can even point you to some excellent pubs nearby serving good quality meals or coffee shops where both you and your dog will be most welcome. Lincolnshire is a great county to visit with your dog and really does have many of the very best dog friendly establishments for you to visit so there is no need to leave your pet behind.  Did you know that dogs are most welcome in Lincoln Cathedral?  The Donkey sanctuary in Huttoft and the Seal sanctuary in Skegness are also dog friendly as is the Lincolnshire Wolds Steam Railway at Ludborough where doggies can have a lovely ride on the train with you.
